About the model, herself....

Bao Su was born on November 25, 1973 in Phang Rang, Vietnam and raised in California. She is a single mother of two, works full time as an office manager, and R.D.A.E.F. With a background as a hair stylist, competing in hair shows, styling for models, and a love for fashion & glamour, she was inspired by the beauty of models and their versatility. During a hair show, she was asked to be model, which is when she began her modeling in 2005. Bao started her first job as a model in the Long Beach Hair Show. Shortly after, with her first photo shoot for The Hair Lab Add Campaign, followed with a published photo shoot for Passion Hair Magazine. Bao has walked the run way for Denim Solutions Launch Party, thereafter was slowly recognized in the industry. She was one of the many contestants for Maxim's "Hometown Hotties".

With a strong work ethic, broad appeal, beauty and charm, her ability to capture that look, is limitless. Bao is someone who inspires single mothers to be successful, independent, and to follow their dreams. She continues to pursue her modeling and looks forward to working on projects relating to the industry. Presently, she is living healthy, enjoying her life as a mother, and her passion in front of the lens.

Through the lens of a photographer....

As a photographer, all we could ask for is a muse. It's our dream come true. Someone who inspires creativity. Who coaxes out the inner artist and takes from it, the softness of night into the trueness of day. Well..... Bao is that person for me. It is a thrill to work with someone who is comfortable in her own skin, versatile, and so in touch with her strength, beauty, vulnerability, and body. She inspires and thrills the eye and soul. I rarely question myself around her.... why? Because she will always "just go for it!" I have had her balanced on beams in an abandoned Hotel, half naked at a carnival in downtown Santa Ana, thrown on old wooden stairs, posing on the rooftop of a wind blown building, and in freezing beach water at sunset. With all the daring and creative settings that I have put her in, no matter what, she still gets in posing position and creates that image I am looking for. As a model, she trusts her movements with strength and agility. Also moving flawlessly and at ease. Bao is graceful yet powerful, and as a person.... well, that's another beautiful story that requires more time. If you are looking for that muse, she is your girl.
